Children's Ministry
The Children's Ministry of First Baptist Dickinson is called First Kids. First Kids provides classes and activities for children ages birth through 6th grade. We are divided into three separate areas: Nursery, Preschool and Children (1st - 6th). To learn more please use the menu on the left.
Our Mother's Day Out and Preschool Program, currently called the First Years, is in session from September through May. To learn more, click on Child Care on the menu on the left.
Our overall goal is to teach children of all ages the importance of putting Christ first in their lives.

Hey, First Kids! Come join me on the steps every Sunday morning during Worship for a short message just for you! And don't forget to pick up one of our children's bulletins in the sanctuary to help you take notes during the service. It was made with you in mind!

Read below to learn about our experience with raising ladybugs.
As we watch our ladybugs become new creations, we will be discussing the importance of becoming a new creation in Christ.
“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” 2 Corinthians 5:17
This picture below is of our ladybug larvae in their new home, after they hatched from their eggs.It will be just a few weeks and we should see our ladybugs changing! 
Our ladybugs have come full circle! We will let them go this Sunday, April 18th, during Sunday School!
The first picture shows the ladybugs in their pupa stage and one adult ladybug. The second picture shows some of our adult ladybugs!!
Well, our ladybugs were a little reluctant to leave their home, but after some encouragement they jumped right onto the leaves!
