Serve

“It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up"  - Ephesians 4:11-12

Did you know that God created you with special gifts and abilities intended for His purposes? God didn’t design ministry for just a few…he made each one of us a minister. We want to help you learn how God can use your spiritual gifts, your heart, your abilities, your personality, and your experiences to minister to the needs of others.

"For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."  - Ephesians 2:10

These ‘good works’ are your service to God, service His church, and service to others. Not only does it please God, but it is vital to the advancement of the Gospel. God has a plan and you are part of that plan. You have been made for a specific work. Our role is to help you find that special work, to fulfill those good ideas, and to please God.   There are many ways to do that, but every journey begins by taking one small step.

MISSION: HANDS AND FEET

Join us on Saturdays as we seek to serve those in our community that need a little extra help. Our current project is helping a widow that lives near the church that is still feeling the after effects of Hurricane Ike. We meet at 7:45 AM in the church parking lot and work until around noon. Bring your gloves and any tools you may have that would come in handy!
