About Us

First Baptist Church Dickinson started in 1938. We have been proudly serving in the Galveston County for the past 70 years. We believe that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior and it is our mission to share the gospel with others.

First Baptist Church is centrally located in the heart of Dickinson, Texas. Our scope of ministry originates from this location, but spans Galveston county and beyond. On a typical Sunday, worshipers come from Dickinson, San Leon, Bacliff, Webster, Texas City, League City, Hitchcock, Alvin, Friendswood, Santa Fe, South Shore Harbor, Kemah, Pasadena, Nassau Bay, and Houston.

Through our mission giving we also touch lives throughout Texas, the nation, and the world. Part of our responsibility is to know the community that we serve.
